Well as I was driving in to work this morning the rain turned into snow. It was melting as soon as it hit the ground but I was surprised to see it accumulating on cars in the parking lot.
In other news. After work today I will be making the trek to my parents back in North Dakota and will be helping out my brother and father in the annual Sugar Beet harvest. I will be driving truck once again, but I got upgraded to a Volvo semi with the N14 Cummins so that is pretty exciting.

Wow! I’m not even ready to think about snow yet.
That N14 Cummins sounds pretty nice, though.

It will be the first of a lot of snow this year. The local forecast for NE Ohio has us dropping into 40ºs next week. I’m seen one notice that we might see a light snow around halloween.

And down here in Atlanta, I work outside and wear shorts every day. I have the AC set to Maximum Coldness in my van. My two-gallon water cooler only lasts me two days. I still always come home drenched in sweat.

And to me that sounds dreadul. Don’t get me wrong. I love warm weather and last summer when I was down in Dallas or Birmingham I loved the 90+ days. But I never actually had to work in them. Plus if it snows like it has been raining for us I may be able to go snowmobiling this winter for once.

Yeah, it was a surprise we got any. It wasn’t even supposed to rain last night that I know of.

Not mine. I just happened to park across from it.

Yeah, I’ve been gearing up for winter, trying to get a jump on it for once. And the Cummins is a torque making beast. So lots of fun to drive.

It is dreadful. I am so jealous of you right now.
